I am so excited

I have recently opened my own online store. The items are a little scarce because I am still waiting for items to be shipped to me.
I am excited to announce that I will soon be carrying stamp sets from Practicing Creativity Designs.

There is a total of 5 stamp sets, 3 have already been released within the last few months and the other 2 will be released shortly. Before the 2 new ones get released I am hoping to have some sneak peaks.

These are all super cute sets and can be used in a variety of ways. Please check out my store in the next week or so and check out the stamp sets.

Happy Birthday Friend

Happy Tuesday, well it is the evening but that is ok. I have a card to share with you, I had it done a couple days ago but I have had no time to upload it. It is a card using the You're Dandy stamp set, this set just has so many possibilities and combinations, I just love it.

Please excuse the quality of photos for now. I have to use my iPhone because the only camera we have right now is some hi-tech one that I don't know how to use. LOL!
Anywho, this is a 4 1/4x5 1/2 Kraft card base. The designer paper is from Basic Grey's Kioshi collection. The flower border is also from Kioshi and it is called ribbon doilies. Super cute and a lot of soft colors. I really like that collection. I used the You're Dandy stamp set by Practicing Creativity Designs. I used Versamark to ink the clouds and then embossed with white embossing powder, I cut out the clouds and used dimensionals to adhere it to the card. The cloud outline was embossed with clear powder.
For the kite I used black Stazon and inked it on one of the Kioshi papers. I cut it out and also adhered with dimensionals. I used crystal effects on the kite to give it a little shine. The kite string is a piece of thread I glued down. The Happy Birthday Friend sentiment is also from You're Dandy. I finished the project off with a corner rounder and some pink satin ribbon from Stampin' UP!

To purchase any of the Basic Grey products please check out my store, Artfuldelight.com. I also have products from American Craft, Cosmo Cricket, Zutter and some Stampin' UP!
I hope to have products from Hero Arts, Ranger and iCopic soon.

My first project

I am happy to be able to share with you my first project. I have been trying to find more time to craft. My kids keep me pretty busy and when they napped, I napped. LOL! But I need to do what makes me happy and that is to craft. So many things I want to create, so many tools to use and so little time to do so.
So on to the card, I made this card about a week ago but I need to tweak it a little. There were a few things I didn't like with the other one, placement mostly.

Here is my card:

I used Kraft cardstock from Stampin' UP! for the base of the card. The stamp set I used is called "You're Dandy" from Practicing Creativity Designs. This stamp set is so adorable. It comes with 20 fabulously cute stamps in this set. I used the small and large rays and stamped it with Versamark and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
The pattern paper and flower embellishment is from Basic Grey's Green at Heart Collection.
The chipboard frame and chipboard letters are both from American Crafts. The chipboard letters are Thickers called Bliss.
I finished off the card by rounding the corners (not sure the brand of my corner rounder).
This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and has a matching envelope. I lined a Kraft envelope from Stampin' UP! with a scrap piece of Green at Heart paper.

If you are interested in the Basic Grey supplies I used check out my store Artfuldelight.com. I don't have any American Crafts products yet but I do have some Cosmo Cricket, Stampin' UP!, Basic Grey and Zutter.

Welcome

Welcome to my little craft corner. Things have had a slow start, trying to get my blog and store up and running. I wanted them all to coordinate.

Anywho, here is a little bit about me. I am a SAHM of 4 children, I have a wonderful supportive boyfriend. I have been scrapbooking for 12 years. The first scrapbook I made was to document my daughter's first year (she will be 13 next month). It wasn't until a year ago that I got back into crafting. I love making scrapbooks, paper crafts of all kinds. Since I am a SAHM I am trying to find ways to work from home. Trying to turn my hobby in to a business, bring in a little extra money every month.

I am going to try and have a new post daily. Might be another week or so before I can get that going but please subscribe to my blog and become a follower and stop by again. I will be having some giveaways and hopefully have some inspiring projects to show.

I have recently purchased a Bind-it-All. I haven't had a chance to play with it much but I plan on getting crafty soon and make some journals and albums.

My online store is Artfuldelight.com. I currently have products from Stampin' UP!, Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey and I hope to have items from American Crafts, Hero Arts and iCopic soon too.

If you have any comments or questions please don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I love comments (positive ones of course *wink*)

It will be slow going but please check back often.
